ABOUT

Service.
Strength.
Recovery.
Purpose.

You may not control what happens to you. You still control what you do next. Broken does not have to mean finished. Never Broken means taking responsibility for what still belongs to you, and doing the next thing.

Unique Perspective

My career gave me an education in leadership and pressure. My injury gave me a completely different one. It taught me what helplessness feels like. It taught me that thirty seconds can require more courage than a heavy barbell ever did.

Inspirations

Your experiences are most valuable when they become useful to someone else. That is why I teach. That is why I speak. That is why I wrote Never Broken. Recovery is not only about getting something back. Sometimes it is about discovering what you can still give.

What Brought Me Here

For most of my adult life, I was the person people expected to move toward the problem. Then severe thoracic stenosis compressed my spinal cord and led to emergency surgery. I woke up unable to control my legs normally.

Recovery came in pieces. A walker. A cane. Another major surgery. Standing for thirty seconds.

The harder question came later: Who am I now? Law enforcement, the tactical team, the gym. Much of it disappeared at once. Rebuilding took physical therapy, family, faith, mentors, and purpose. That search brought me back to ALERRT, and back to service.

What I'm Exploring Now

Today, I continue to teach, train, travel, and work with people whose professions demand preparation, leadership, discipline, and performance under pressure.
